Becoming Board Certified - CSG Credential

The Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG) is offered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for registered dietitians/nutritionists (RDs/RDNs) who have specialized experience in gerontological nutrition. Being Board Certified as a Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition designates specific knowledge, skills, and expertise for competency in practice working with the older adult population.

The Healthy Aging DPG is actively working to increase the number of RDs/RDNs holding this certification by offering information, resources and other tools to our members.
