The pandemic has shifted the consumer mindset around health and wellness. The concept of health and what it means has expanded with consumers focusing more on preventative measures to support overall well-being. These shifts in attitudes and behaviors provide an opportunity to educate on satisfaction from eating including the role of satiety as well as the impact on health outcomes and one’s relationship with food and body.
In this webinar, you’ll hear from Dr. Nikki Ford, PhD about research on the relationship between nutrient intake, appetite, satiety, and health outcomes including how a combination of fat and fiber, found in foods like avocados, can promote feelings of satisfaction. In addition, Andrea Mathis, MA, RDN, LD will share recent consumer insights about health management and discuss how a mindful eating approach can support health and wellness goals.
